As a rule, a so-called "corset" must be worn to treat the spinal deformity scoliosis. At least 16-23 hours a day. Young patients in particular often lack acceptance of their corset and the disease.
In order to increase this acceptance, the aim of the bachelor thesis was to develop an improved concept for such a scoliosis corset. One that patients like to wear and that strengthens them physically and psychologically rather than making them feel weaker.
The corset was developed in consultation with various experts and patients.
